1.   Description:

The big trend of Driverless car will have come.

Driverless Car, called self-driving car, is autonomous vehicle that senses surrounding environment and navigate without human.

The driverless car uses hi-tech sensors as GPS, laser scanner and navigation system to perceiving current location. In other words, the car itself becomes software.

That is, Computer perceives digitalized information and drive itself

Actually, Volvo is working on 'Drive Me' project. It will make 100 autonomous cars drive actual traffic situation.

The above graph is demanding forecasting of autonomous driving.
Navigant Research company offered a more positive outlook. Autonomous car will cover about 75 percentage of car industry.

             2. Criteria 1 : Technology of driverless car

To realize self-driving car, it needs 3 representative technologies.

1.    Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC)

ACC is system that keeps a safe distance from car in front of me or obstacle. It controls speed itself using radar.

2.    Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS)

LKAS monitors driving lane and warns driver when car deviated from its lane.

3.    Remote Park Assist (RPA)

RPA is system that is parking itself looking for empty space. It is possible to park a car more accurate.

Criteria 2 : Company of driverless car

There are the two leader companies in driverless car industry.

1. Google

Google is highly interested in driverless car industry. Also it invested good money.

                Criteria 3 : Advantage / Side effect

There are many advantages of driverless car. First, It is possible to raise convenience of driver. It will reduce car accident because driverless car is very accurate and unerring precision.

Also, It contributes to society in a various way. For example, It helpful for the disabled people or the aged who had difficulty driving a car.

But also, side effect of driverless car is dangerous. Hacked driverless car system is really dangerous because system is based on software. So, it may cause even more problems.

Expression:

The Driverless car will come true

Driverless car industry is marking high growth rate. Also, many automobile and IT company is getting into the industry. Of course, there may be many problems. But I think progress of technology will gradually improve problems.

So, Trust driverless car system!

 I think this because driverless car is inevitable as advances in technology. There are several reasons why it is inevitable.

First, autonomous car is very useful and helpful in various ways. It makes optimal driving because of accurate system. So car drive itself as a optimized speed and minimum moving.

In addition, this system makes driver do whatever is necessary while driving. So drivers gain time that does useful activities. For example, you can work, read a book and hold a conference in your car. Also, you can get some sleep.

Therefore, Driverless car age will come soon because of these reasons. That is why I said Trust driverless car system. I hope to see that it makes the world more convenient.

Also, The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) predicted autonomous car would be common by 2030. Especially, Google is very important company with many opportunities for future growth.
